It will be fun fun fun painting every day following demos in oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and urban sketching from the world’s top artists. Plus a faculty and attendee art show. San Diego will be our most amazing event but don’t worry, baby. Though tickets are selling faster than normal, if you book now you can still get a seat and we’ll have plenty of good vibrations. So grab Ba, Ba, Ba, Barbara Ann so you can hang loose, board the Sloop John B., ride the wave and register now. Book now so you can say, “I get around” San Diego, where the plein air tide is high.

Please join us for this one-of-a-kind experience featuring a faculty of some of the world’s top plein air artists (artists who paint outdoors, on location), as well as renowned figurative artists. The convention and expo includes classes, demonstrations, social activities, exhibitors, and on-site painting at the resort and surrounding areas.

We’re all about (local) art.

We’re proud to be a part of Saint John, a community that is well known for embracing the arts. So naturally, we wanted to bring in work from our region’s artisans to the airport. Every day we welcome visitors from all over the globe, and we want everyone — from near and far — to enjoy these masterpieces from our corner of the world.

Bloomin' Artists

On the weekend of July 25th and 26th, the town of Hampton, its gardens and its river environment, will become the inspiration for visiting artists, as they draw and paint, create a series of small works inspired by the beauty of their surroundings as part of the “Bloomin’ Artists” fundraising event sponsored by The Hampton John Peters Humphrey Foundation and Communities in Bloom.

A silent auction for the small work created will be held throughout the weekend at the Lighthouse River Centre in Hampton.

There will be creative activities for children and the public is invited to visit artists as they work.
Proceeds from Bloomin’ Artists will go towards the continuing works of the Hampton John Peters Humphrey Foundation, a charitable organization committed to providing an ongoing tribute to John Peters Humphrey by educating individuals of all ages about his life and accomplishments; and to educating people about human rights.
